Started to plan the preliminary task. The task is to film an argument between two people. We chose to have an argument between a brother and sister. We started by making a script for the characters. We all played a part in making both the script and storyboard in the planning process.
Friday 3rd October
Today we filmed our scene. The location of the scene was filmed at my house. We used techniques such as stop start action and the 180 degree rule. I filmed the argument between Rose and Robert.
Wednesday 8th October
In the media lesson we began to edit the video. We edited the video as a group and each had our own input. I edited Rose walking into the house and into the living room where the argument took place.
Scenario
Annoying older sister walks into living room and changes the TV channel when the brother was watching their programme.
Characters

Kate Martin: Rose Fitzgerald (Sister)
Gill Stennett: Pamela Fitzgerald (Mother)
Script
Gill Stennett: Pamela Fitzgerald (Mother)
Script
(Robert is sat on the couch watching TV)
(Rose walks in and changes the programme)
ROBERT: What do you think you’re doing!
ROSE: Watching the TV! That’s what I’m doing.
ROBERT: I was watching my programme!
ROSE: Not anymore.
(Robert tries to take the remote back but Rose won’t let him)
ROBERT: I hate that you’re my sister! You make my life
miserable!
PAMELA: [Shouting] Woah! What is going on in here? You should
never say that about your sister.
ROBERT: I was watching the TV and she just walks in and takes
the remote when I was watching my programme.
ROSE: He is lying! I was in here first!
ROBERT: NO! She is twisting the story.
PAMELA: right that’s it, I am sick of you two bickering all
the time! Why can’t you just get along like a normal family? I have had enough
of it! None of you are going to watch the TV. You’re both banned for two weeks.
